Studio Update
|
Hello everyone! This season marks a big transition for our family as we prepare to welcome our twin boys sometime in June. With that in mind, I’ll be taking a step back from new work to focus on this next chapter.
Commissions I am no longer accepting new commission orders at this time. Commissions are expected to reopen in September/October in time for the Christmas season, though I will share a more exact date once I have a better sense of what life looks like with two newborns at home. To those who currently have commissions in my queue—thank you, sincerely, for your patience. Production has been much slower than usual due to a more difficult pregnancy, and I’ve been taking things day by day. Your understanding and kindness during this time means more to me than I can express. Lessons All drawing lessons will wrap up for the season on May 29th. Lessons are tentatively scheduled to resume on September 8th, though this may be adjusted depending on how things are going at home. I will keep all students updated as that time approaches. |
I’m incredibly grateful for the continued support of this small business—whether through commissions, lessons, purchases made in the shop, or simply following along. This community has been such a gift, and I look forward to returning later this year with fresh energy and (very likely) a few baby stories along the way.
As always, thank you for being here!
Warmly,
-Caroline C.

Celebrating Local Art and the Connections It CreatesIn late 2025, I had the joy of taking part in Art – A Community Treasure, hosted by Treasure Mattes at the Cainsville Community Centre. It was such a heartwarming day filled with creativity, connection, and inspiration. I met so many talented local artists, discovered new styles, and had wonderful conversations with visitors from the community.
Even more exciting — a few of my pieces found new homes! Events like this remind me just how special our local art scene is, and how much Brant could benefit from more spaces that celebrate and support creativity. A huge "thank you" to our hosts, and to everyone who took the time to come by and support us! Here’s hoping Art – A Community Treasure becomes an annual tradition! |
