In this 8 week drawing fundamentals course, we'll explore the building blocks that contribute to nearly every avenue of creating a work of art. Each week we'll focus on a new design element, from contour, to shadows, texture, perspective, and everything in between. And although we'll be working primarily with graphite and charcoal to begin with, the skills we'll be focusing on can be translated across a myriad of artistic mediums and subject matter, and experimenting with a variety of mediums will be encouraged as we progress. So whether you're a total beginner, or are just looking to refresh your existing drawing skill set, you're guaranteed to walk away with new found knowledge and the tools to kickstart your art journey, and branch out in whichever way the wind takes you!
